As a Business Psychologist and Business Coach, I work with individuals, SMEs and larger organisations to develop them and help them to grow their business.

I draw upon psychological theories, models and research to make sense of the way people think, feel and behave within the world of work. In other words, I support people to get the best out of them and discover their potential. It’s not always a straight forward process. People are complex and quite often, situations are not as simple as they seem.

As a psychologist, I understand the psychology of the mind and behaviour. I am able to look at things in an objective way. I make sure that I am basing my investigations on trusted research. I like evidence and to see the real impact it can have on people and their business.

I specialise in positive psychology, confidence building, creativity and innovation, leadership, training/ development, employee engagement; coaching, equality and diversity and strategy.

I hold the BPS Occupational Test Certificates in Personality and Ability and have assessed in the delivery of these training courses at City University. I am trained in using the NEO, the WAVE, ODC and Orpheus.

Psychometric measures enable people to have an in depth discussion about who they are, what their strengths are and areas to develop (if they wish). Personality is not fixed; we have the ability to build on our strengths and develop our undiscovered potential (Johari window).

I am passionate about psychology and as a science-practitioner, understand the research cycle. I have worked within teams and set up and managed teams, so I understand the process involved in employee engagement at ground level. I believe that individuals flourish at work when they are energised, motivated and identify with their organisations, teams and colleagues culture and values. The key is to identify, understand and work with what drives us and inspires us.
